PATIENTS & VISITORS

All Patients and Visitors are requested to adhere to the instructions listed below pertaining to Visiting Hours, Admission and Discharge Process and other guidelines mentioned below.

This section contains guidelines for Patients, Visitors, the Admission Process, and Discharge Process and Grievance Mechanism.

Visiting Hours

The patient visitors can visit their respective patients by showing the visitor pass between 4:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M.

Guidelines to Patients
  • Give correct and complete information about your health status and health history.
  • Ask questions if you do not understand information or instructions.
  • Inform your caregivers if you do not intend to or cannot follow the treatment plan.
  • Accept health consequences that may occur if you decide to refuse treatment or instructions.
  • Cooperate with your caregivers.
  • Respect the rights and property of other patients.
  • Tell your caregivers of any medications you brought from home.
  • Report any changes in your health status to your caregivers.
  • Know the names and roles of those caring for you.
  • Communicate with your caregivers in a language or method you can understand.
  • Have your personal physician and a person of your choice notified when you are admitted to the hospital.
  • Communicate with people outside the hospital by way of visitors, phone, except when doing so would interfere with your care. Any restrictions will be explained to you.
  • Be informed about your health status, recommended treatments, options, risks and benefits.
Guidelines to Visitors
  • For the comfort of all our patients, we request visitors to limit their visits to visiting hours.
  • Please note that visitors may be restricted according to a patient’s medical condition and/or special needs.
  • At the time of admission, you will be issued passes for attendants and visitors. Please request your attendant and visitors to wear/display these passes while in the hospital premises. In case of loss of the pass, you may get in touch with the Front Office Desk.
  • Visits by children under the age of 12 are not allowed on patient floors. This is to protect children from catching any infection.
  • Use of mobile phones is prohibited where critical medical equipment and patient monitoring systems are in operation. If you must use your cell phone in approved areas, please speak in a soft tone so that other patients are not disturbed.
Discharge Process
  • Your nurse will assist you in the discharge process which may take few hours to complete the process. The nurse will hand over your discharge summary. She will also explain the medications you need to continue after your discharge and any other follow-up instructions.
  • If applicable once your final bill is generated, you are expected to clear your dues. In case you need a medical ambulance to drop you at your home, then please inform your nurse and she will make the necessary arrangement (on hire basis).
Grievance & Complaint

Patients and their relatives can lodge their complaint/ grievances in oral/written form to the following designated persons regarding any details.

  2. Vinod Marathe – Assistant Supervisor
  3. The Hospital Administrative Team will take forward the compliant as per Grievance Redressal policy guidelines. The complainant will be informed about the remedial axction taken up by the Hospital Administration as per laid down norms.
