Out Patient Department

Out Patient Department

The Dept. provides diagnosis and care for patients that do not need to stay overnight at our Hospital. The Dept. is integrated with our in-patient services and manned by consultant physicians and surgeons who also attend inpatients in the wards. Many patients are examined and given treatment as outpatients before being admitted to the hospital at a later date as inpatients. Post discharge, the patients may attend the outpatient clinic for follow-up treatment.

Wheelchairs and stretchers are available for non-ambulatory patients. Patients undergo the registration process at our OPD Billing/ Front Office counters. After registration each patient is guided towards the OPD Consultation Room/ Diagnostic Service Desk in order to avail the services. The patient has to wait at the waiting area outside consulting room/ diagnostic centre. The respective OPD/ Diagnostic centre In-charge ensures that the patient is provided the required service as per the patient’s turn.
